Empower: Providing personalized, expert genomic and bioinformatic services and consulting to empower scientists and help advance their research. High-throughput (i.e. NGS) technologies have transformed how research is done in many fields of science. But the impact of these technologies is often slowed by barriers that include lack of access to instrumentation and limited technical or analytical expertise. We bring down these barriers, easing the application of advanced genomic technologies, and giving researchers more freedom to focus time and effort on their scientific expertise instead of getting mired in technical details that serve simply as means to a greater end. 

Educate: Some of the biggest impacts we can have as scientists come from training others to do science well and to use scientific information effectively. We don't just help develop current and future professional researchers, but also make efforts to increase scientific and data literacy among those who don’t do science for a living. This includes providing access to educational and training resources at low or no cost to reach groups who are traditionally underserved and underrepresented in science.

Discover: Our role as a service provider gives us unique access to technologies and opportunities that aren't readily available to everyone doing science. At our core, we’re researchers ourselves, driven by opportunities to develop novel technologies and build new understandings of the natural world. As such, we reinvest a portion of our profits back in to doing and supporting basic research.
